India's 360 ONE Names New Chairman

, an India-based wealth and asset management house, yesterday said it has appointed Akhil Gupta as chairman of the board. He is already an independent director of the firm. 360 ONE is the investment and financial advisor to 7,200 high net worth and ultra-high net worth families, collectively holding about $56.3 billion of assets. It is headquartered in Mumbai and operates from 25 locations in India.
Gupta will be taking over from Nilesh Vikamsey.
A chartered accountant by training, Gupta has expertise in the telecom sector, fundraising and mergers and acquisitions. He is vice chairman and whole-time director of Bharti Enterprises.
“Akhil’s direction and leadership towards achieving 360 ONE's strategic goals and objectives will further strengthen our position as the leaders in the wealth and asset management space in India,” Karan Bhagat, founder, managing director and CEO of 360 ONE, said.
Earlier in July, 360 ONE appointed Pankaj Fitkariwala as chief operating officer.
