Carmignac Elliott will be responsible for supporting the firm’s growth strategy, focusing on the wholesale and institutional client segments in London and the Channel Islands. He reports to Gavin Ward, who joined the company in September 2023 as head of UK business development. “I am confident Christian’s wealth of experience across the UK distribution market will prove most valuable as we serve our growing client base,” Ward said. Christian is a highly seasoned sales professional with over 20 years of experience across all distribution channels. He began his career at Fidelity FundsNetwork in 2000, and then moved to Invesco Perpetual as broker liaison executive until 2007. For almost a decade, he was UK discretionary sales manager at UBS Global Asset Management, then sales director at Man GLG, where he was responsible for London and the Channel Islands from January 2015 to December 2023. Elliott has a BA in geography and psychology from Nottingham Trent University.
The has appointed Jamie Lang, Chartered FCSI, as the Isle of Man branch committee president. He is taking over from Katie Errock ACSI who has been the president since 2022.
