Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Alpha FMC

, a global provider of specialist consultancy services to the financial services industry, has hired Chris Walker as a partner, with immediate effect.

His remit is to expand the firm’s commercial due diligence services for private equity firms and corporates. He will also be responsible for expanding and enhancing Alpha’s value creation and strategy propositions, the firm said in a statement.

Based in London, Walker was previously part of EY-Parthenon’s strategy and transactions team, where he was responsible for supporting private equity clients investing in the financial services sector, in particular asset and wealth management. Prior to this, he spent nearly eight years at strategy consultancy Oliver Wyman.

“With the addition of Chris, a highly experienced industry practitioner, to our team, we are poised for accelerated growth and look forward to continuing to assist both new and existing clients in grasping opportunities across commercial due diligence, value creation and strategy,” Jon Reed, senior partner who leads strategy and deals said.

UK-based Alpha FMC is quoted on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. It has a large dedicated team catering to the financial services industry, with over 1,000 consultants globally, operating from 17 client-facing offices spanning the UK, North America, Europe and APAC. Alpha works with a range of firms, including a high percentage of the world’s top 100 asset managers.
