(CBAM) it has enhanced its London office with the appointment of Justin Yeldham as senior investment director.

Yeldham, who has almost 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, started his career at Carr Sheppards in 1994 working through its transition to Investec Wealth and Investment and most recently Rathbones. He has managed a range of portfolios for both onshore and offshore private individuals and their families, the firm said in a statement. Yeldham is an expert in managing taxable portfolios, ISAs, self-invested pension plans, local charities and family trusts. He is also fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, the firm added.

UK privately-owned bank has just appointed Dr Emanuel Tschannen, attorney at law, as a partner.

Tschannen has a track record as a business lawyer and litigator, the firm said in a statement. He advises domestic and foreign clients in matters relating to contract and corporate law, and represents his clients in commercial disputes and administrative proceedings. He is also an experienced coordinator of complex cross-border litigation, supporting his clients in domestic and international M&A transactions, the firm added.

Tschannen started his career at a large Swiss bank, where he gained first transactional experience (M&A advisory). After his doctorate at the Civil Law Department of the University of Bern, he worked as a trainee lawyer for a business law firm in Zurich, the firm said. He supported the transaction practice group on due diligences and gained experience in employment law. After being admitted to the Zurich bar, he became a member of the executive board of a listed company (SIX). He was a general counsel and head of human resources (CHRO). Tschannen also founded his own law firm (shareholder company).
