Geneva-based asset management firm has launched Quaero Capital Funds (Lux) – Bond Investment Opportunity, a new bond sub-fund of its Luxembourg SICAV Quaero Capital Funds (Lux).

The fund invests mainly in the debt markets of OECD member countries in euros, incorporating ESG criteria, the firm said in a statement. The team, comprising Xavier Nicolas, Frédéric Loisel and Philippe Scemama, has been managing a similar strategy since January 2022 in the form of a specialist professional fund under French law. The strategy is now available in Luxembourg UCITS format, the firm added.

It provides access to all bond asset sub-classes such as sovereign bonds, investment grade corporate bonds, and high yield bonds, and aims to invest 30 per cent of its assets in green social bonds.

Fitting within the firm’s ESG commitment, it is classified under Article 8 of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Muzinich &Co
, an investment firm specialising in public and private corporate credit, has just launched the Muzinich Global Market Duration Investment Grade Fund, which is classified under Article 8 of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Managed by Tatjana Greil-Castro and Ian Horn, the fund mainly invests in global investment grade bonds, the firm said in a statement. Portfolio managers Anthony DeMeo and Ian Horn are overseeing the US and European segments of the fund whilst Corentin Tarlier is responsible for portfolio analytics.

The fund’s reference index is the Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Corporate Index.
