UK's Nucleus Names New Finance Chief

has appointed a new chief financial officer, Alexander Filshie, subject to regulatory approval. He is taking over from Mike Regan, who, as previously announced, has been named chief commercial officer.

Filshie, who has worked in business for more than three decades, is an experienced board-level CFO with a track record in M&A and delivering business transformation. Prior to Nucleus, he was CFO for three years at Kensington Mortgages, a specialist lender. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer at Visa Payments.  

Starting his career at PwC and then Standard Chartered, Filshie served in senior roles at Barclays and American Express.  He was also a CFO in smaller specialised financial services groups and fintechs including World First and CLS Group.

In Regan’s case, he is replacing Alex Kovach, who will be leaving at the end of the year.
