Canaccord Genuity Wealth International Limited Lang (pictured) has worked in the Island’s finance sector for over 15 years and brings experience of both retail and private banking to his new role. Lang looks after a portfolio of high net worth clients ensuring that they receive the highest standard of service across the full suite of Canaccord Genuity’s wealth management solutions. “He brings with him significant experience in providing wealth management solutions to high value clients. Richards, head of Canaccord Genuity in the Isle of Man said Lang is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has completed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management exam, as well as the Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning. AXA Investment Managers Based in London and reporting to Hans Stoter, global head of AXA IM Core, Bos’s remit will be to grow the investment, commercial and financial performance of the equity platform. Prior to joining AXA IM, Bos was global head of sustainable investing at Credit Suisse Asset Management, leading its sustainability efforts across the firm. Prior to this, he was head of equities and responsible investing at NN Investment Partners. Bos has also worked in global equity portfolio manager and equity analyst roles. “As we have strong ambitions to expand our equity franchise, particularly in Thematics, SDG-aligned and ESG integrated investment strategies, his breadth of knowledge of the equities markets and responsible investing will be instrumental to us. I look forward to working with him to continously innovate, bring best-in-class strategies for our clients, and deliver sustainable long-term value,” Stoter said. Dambrine, who has been appointed to the newly-created position of chief client officer, will report to Paul de Leusse, CEO. Most recently Dambrine worked at Lombard Odier IM. Eloy, who has been appointed as human resources director, will succeed Laurent Gnassia who has decided to retire. His role falls under the responsibility of Philippe Renauld, chief operating and financial officer. Eloy has worked in the sector for more than 30 years. Prior to this role, he was at Sycomore AM. At the start of October, the firm will take on Markus Schuwerack as country head of sales for Germany and Austria, based in Frankfurt, reporting to Dambrine. Most recently, he worked at Edmond de Rothschild AM. Sienna IM employs more than 280 professionals, working in Luxembourg, London, Paris, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Madrid, Amsterdam, Zurich and Seoul. The firm oversees €32 billion ($34.3 billion) as of June 2023, mainly on behalf of third parties in listed assets, real estate, private debt, private equity and venture capital.
(Canaccord Genuity) has appointed Jamie Lang as an investment manager in the Isle of Man.
(AXA IM) has appointed Jeroen Bos as global head of AXA IM Equity, effective 1 November 2023. Subject to regulatory approval, Bos will take over from Mark Hargraves, who will pursue a new professional endeavour outside the AXA Group.

Appleby
Offshore law firm has appointed Daniel Mitchell to join its British Virgin Islands office as a partner. His appointment brings partner numbers in Appleby’s dispute resolution team to four, following the recent appointment of Simon Jerrum who is based in London.
Mitchell will be based in the BVI office and work with Olwyn Barry in advising clients in Europe and the Middle East. He has practised in the BVI for more than 11 years – first with Forbes Hare and latterly with Ogier. Mitchell specialises in insolvency and restructuring disputes, most recently leading a team of 16 in advising the liquidators of Three Arrows Capital. He is a solicitor advocate who trained and practised with Norton Rose Fulbright in London and in Singapore before relocating to the BVI in 2012.
