Saffery Champness Refreshes Brand

Since its launch in Guernsey in 1977, the firm said it has expanded its presence internationally to Switzerland, Dubai and, most recently, the Cayman Islands – providing private client and company services to wealthy individuals, families and corporate entities around the world.

The rebrand to Saffery Trust will bring together the firm’s three core operating businesses across these international jurisdictions – Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries (Guernsey), Saffery Champness (Suisse) SA (Switzerland), and Saffery Trust (Cayman) Ltd (The Cayman Islands) – under one brand, the firm said in a statement.

The refreshed positioning is aligned with the rebrand and name change of Saffery Champness, the UK accounting and advisory firm, to Saffery, and enables each business to operate under the Saffery brand, the firm continued. The brand aligns Saffery Trust and Saffery more closely with Nexia, a network of independent accounting and consulting firms of which Saffery is a founding member, reflecting an increasing focus on and demand for cross-border advice and services from multi-jurisdictional clients.

“Our business has transformed significantly since we first launched in Guernsey almost fifty years ago. It was important for us to evolve our brand in line with this journey – leveraging our heritage and the trusted Saffery name while providing us with the platform to continue to meet the needs and expectations of our clients, and our people, as an independent trusted advisor and leading provider of trust, family office and company services both today and in the future,” Nick Batiste, managing director of Saffery Trust, said.
