JTC Makes Senior Swiss Hire

has bolstered its European Private Client Services team with the appointment of Helena Storjohann as a director in its Geneva office.

In this newly-created role in the Swiss team, Storjohann will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and trusts, while also helping to drive forward JTC’s growth and business development strategy, the firm said in a statement. She will report to Private Client Services managing director of Switzerland Julie Zingiloglu.

Storjohann, who has 25 years of experience working in the European and cross-border private client sector, started her career in the trust industry working for Coutts Trustees in Geneva. She then moved with the management to set up a new independent trust company where she was head of private office services. 

Prior to joining JTC, Storjohann worked for Bank Julius Baer, where she was a wealth planner, focusing on the Middle East, and advising clients and their families on wealth planning and structuring. She previously worked for US investment manager Merrill Lynch on the advisory team of its international trust company, the firm continued.
