yesterday said that Daniel Hunziker, who is head of its institutional clients business and member of the executive board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland), will become leader of the corporate clients business with immediate effect. This role adds to his current job, the Swiss bank said.

Andreas Gerber, head of corporate banking and member of the executive board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland), is leaving the bank and taking a break “for the time being,” it continued. Gerber has been at Credit Suisse and Schweizerische Volksbank for 34 years.

Hunziker has been at Credit Suisse since 2002. Amongst his previous roles, he was head of the Zurich region and head of strategy in the former universal Swiss bank division, before taking over running the institutional clients business in 2020. Hunziker has also been president of the Zurich Banking Association since 2019.

As UBS continues its integration of Credit Suisse after its takeover, a number of senior organisational changes have been announced, as reported here and here.
