Evelyn Partners
, the wealth and professional services group, has appointed Harrison Boar as a financial planner in its Chelmsford office.

Boar (pictured) was previously at Fisher Investments where he spent nine years as a private client advisor. During his time there, he specialised in advising high net worth clients on a range of financial planning areas. Boar is a chartered member of the CISI.

Peter Besant, partner in Evelyn Partners’ Chelmsford office said: “I am really pleased to have Harrison join our growing team in Chelmsford. As an office, we are continuing to expand in response to increased demand for our financial planning services and are committed to hiring experienced professionals like Harrison to ensure we can provide the best possible service to clients.”

Harrison added: “I am eager to get up and running during what is an exciting time for Evelyn Partners and building on the impressive growth the company has seen over recent years. I am fortunate to be joining an experienced team who I’m looking forward to working with to provide our outstanding wealth management services.”

Spring Capital Partners
, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, has appointed Paris-based Axel Botte as head of markets strategy. He was previously the global strategist in the same team.

Botte will head the markets strategy team, which includes Zouhoure Bousbih, emerging countries strategist and Aline Goupil-Raguénès, developed countries strategist, both members of the team since 2018. The firm said that it is currently recruiting for a new global strategist to replace Botte's former role.

Botte reports to Ibrahima Kobar, CIO of fixed income, structuring and research, and member of Ostrum AM's executive committee, the firm said in a statement.

Within Ostrum AM, the main missions of the markets strategy team are to establish a macroeconomic, economic and financial scenario to support the active fundamental management teams in their strategy and asset allocation recommendations, as well as to provide top-down internal research to support the managers' convictions.

Botte, who started his career in 2000 at Axa IM, was appointed head of fixed income strategy in the investment strategy department of the management company in 2007, the firm said. In 2010, Botte joined Ostrum AM as a global strategist working with the fixed income teams on specific themes, such as interest rates, developed market government bonds, inflation-linked bonds and credit.
