the listed, global professional services business, has appointed Kate Beauchamp (pictured) as an independent non-executive director. She has also been appointed as an additional member of the board's audit and risk, nomination and remuneration committees.

Beauchamp is a qualified lawyer with more than 20 years' experience in both private and commercial practice and in the provision of corporate and legal advisory services in both the UK and US.

In 2014 she was appointed as the chief legal officer of a UK-based group of international engineering companies, assuming the chief executive role in 2020. In addition to her executive role, Beauchamp acts as an independent consultant on good governance and board effectiveness to private and public companies, and has lectured on property, trusts and equity (UK) law. 

Wedlake Bell
City law firm has appointed a new partner – Matthew Brunsdon-Tully – who will be head of family alternative dispute resolution and innovation.

Brunsdon-Tully is also vice-chair of the Resolution Pensions, Tax and Financial Remedies Committee.

He started practice as a barrister at 1 Hare Court where he gained expertise in family litigation including financial remedies, private law children, and jurisdiction disputes; he was also junior counsel of choice for a number of leading matrimonial firms.

Wedlake Bell now has 70 partners.
