Credit Suisse
has named a former HSBC senior figure to head up its wealth business in Germany, with a focus on the ultra-high net worth and entrepreneurs segment.

Sven Stephan’s task is to lead and build “the new onsite dedicated wealth management team” at the bank, it said in a statement yesterday. Before joining Credit Suisse (Deutschland) in 2021 as managing director, Stephan led HSBC Deutschland’s private banking team. He has 23 years of experience in banking, 17 of which are in wealth management. He is based in Frankfurt and reports to Dr. Frank Heitmann, CEO Credit Suisse (Deutschland) and functionally to Mischa Tschopp, market area head of Germany.

Stephenson Harwood
, overseeing more than $2.7 trillion of assets, has appointed former Morgan Stanley senior figure Kat Ferris to the newly-created role of Asia and Europe product development head.

Ferris reports to Alexandra Haggard, head of product and investment services for Asia and Europe, Capital Group said in a statment.

With more than 16 years’ experience in asset management, Ferris is joining from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where she was head of international product for four years. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ferris worked as a product manager at Robeco.
