Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management: Credit Suisse Asset Management

 has made a suite of global appointments to its management committee as part of its new organisational structure.
The firm has appointed Colin Fitzgerald (pictured) as global head of distribution. He is joining from Invesco, where he most recently served as head of EMEA distribution and chief executive officer, Invesco Asset Management. He has two decades of experience in managing distribution teams at global asset management organisations. Based in London, he will be responsible for expanding the division’s distribution capabilities, enhancing the coverage model for institutional, wealth management and third-party wholesale clients, and increasing the footprint of CSAM in selected European and Asian markets.
Jo McCaffrey has been appointed global head of product. Based in Zurich, she is joining from PineBridge Investments, where she most recently served as head of products.
Filippo Rima, who has been promoted to global head of investment, is currently head of CSAM Switzerland and EMEA and chief executive officer of CSAM (Switzerland). Previously, he was the division’s head of equities. Based in Zurich, he joined the firm in September 2005 from Winterthur Asset Management, where he was a senior portfolio manager in the equity team.

The investment function will bring together both the traditional investment and alternatives capabilities, playing a crucial role in helping the firm meets its aspiration of becoming the asset manager of choice in both public and private markets by strengthening the existing offering. The new function will also deeply embed and expand the firm’s sustainable investment offering globally.
CSAM has also appointed regional heads, with Filippo Rima as head of Switzerland, Colin Fitzgerald as head of EMEA, Michael Rongetti as head of Americas and Min Huang (ad interim) as head of APAC.
