, which provides client relationship management, anti-money laundering and fraud prevention solutions, has appointed James C Mitchell as managing director (International). 

Mitchell is responsible for speeding up firms' adoption of Tier1's CRM and compliance solutions across Europe and increasing growth in Asia.

Based in London, Mitchell has more than 18 years' experience in the financial and capital markets space. Before joining Tier1, he was sales director for capital markets for Europe, Middle East and Africa at FIS, where he oversaw its EMEA post-trade and regulatory compliance sales team. Prior to this, he was sales director at Reval for over seven years. He also worked in senior sales roles at BottomLine Technologies, SunGard and Wall Street Systems.

Switzerland’s has appointed Violaine Augustin-Moreau as head of the Romandie area, boosting its presence in the French-speaking side of the country.

Augustin-Moreau will sit on the firm’s executive board and lead its Shared Services department, which includes legal and compliance, IT, tax, finance and controlling, and internal services. Augustin-Moreau will lead a team of 15 people at the Signy office.

With 17 years in asset management, Augustin-Moreau holds a master's degree in business administration from KEDGE Business School, specialising in accounting, audit, and controlling. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005 as audit senior manager, asset management – initially in Luxembourg – then in Singapore and most recently in Switzerland. In 2016, she joined Realstone SA, which is Realstone Group’s real-estate fund management business, as executive director.

SOLUFONDS, which was founded in 2008, is a fund management company under Swiss law whose core business is the structuring and administration of private label solutions. It employs almost 30 people, and oversees nearly SFr4 billion ($4.43 billion) in assets. Its offices are in Signy and Zurich.
