Deutsche Bank IPB Names Ex-Goldman Sachs Man For EMEA Role

has hired ex-Goldman Sachs figure Adam Russ as co-head of lending for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Russ, who will be a managing director based in London, reporting to Alessandro Caironi, IPB head of lending, advisory and sales, will work with Marco Pagliara, head of IPB EMEA.

Starting at Goldman Sachs in 2014, Russ was responsible for lending in EMEA and Latin America. He previously worked at Barclays from 2007.

“As we continue on our growth journey, we’re investing in hiring senior bankers like Adam Russ to further build out our position as a leading global house for family entrepreneurs,” Caironi said.

Deutsche Bank’s International Private Bank serves more than three million clients, including private clients, small and medium-sized enterprises in Italy, Spain, Belgium and India, and wealth management clients from more than 80 locations in Germany, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. It has around €250 billion ($299 billion) of assets under management and an annual revenue of about €3 billion.
