Adam & Co Raided For Brooks Macdonald Edinburgh Office - Report

UK wealth manager Brooks Macdonald is looking to establish a new Edinburgh operation and has hired an investment management team from RBS-owned private bank Adam & Company, according to a Citywire report.

Three senior investment managers including the former chief investment officer, Gareth Howlett, who also ran the CF Stewart Ivory Investment Markets fund, and CF Adam Worldwide funds, Robin McAdam and Alastair Wilson have been hired, according to the report.

AIM-listed Brooks Macdonald plans to open the Edinburgh office in September, having recently opened regional offices in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and Manchester.

The manager declined to comment on the latest hires.
