Lyxor AM Appoints New Investment Chief

, has appointed Florence Barjou as chief investment officer. Based in Paris, Barjou will report to Lionel Paquin, Lyxor’s chief executive.

Barjou takes over from Guillaume Lasserre, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities, Lyxor said in a statement late last week. 

Bajou has served as deputy CIO since 2015. She has an extensive knowledge of Lyxor’s active management franchises, in her capacity as a multi-asset portfolio manager, and her role in organising and developing Lyxor’s active management capabilities over the past 15 years.  

The firm had $162.9 billion as at the end of June this year, one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
