Global CIO Named At Fidelity Asset Management

Andrew McCaffery has been named global chief investment officer of asset management at London-based . It is understood that Grenier will replace Steve Neff as head of the Boston-based firm's $3 trillion asset management division when Neff retires in early 2020. Grenier has led the asset management business at Fidelity International in London since January 2018. Replacing him, McCaffery joined Fidelity International in July as global chief investment officer for alternatives and solutions, and has acted as Grenier’s deputy. Before Fidelity, the 30-year veteran spent eight years at Aberdeen Standard Investments in a range of senior roles, including global head of strategic client investments and global head of alternatives.
