WealthBriefingAsia hosted a videoed roundtable discussion in Singapore's Westin Hotel to discuss themes on how modern technology is - or in some ways is not - transforming the way in which wealth managers do their jobs. A starting point for conversation was centred on the second of two recent white papers issued by US-based software engineering and digital platform services firm EPAM. The latest publication is called Digital Transformation 2.0 In Wealth Management: Achieving Traction & Focus For Future Growth. (A roundtable discussion looking at the first of its papers can be seen here.) Participants in the round table, moderated by this publication's chief executive, Stephen Harris, were Aamod Gokhale, head of FS Consulting, EPAM APAC; Urs Lichtenberger, digital leader, head of client platform, APAC, Credit Suisse; Manoj Bhojwani – head of APAC private banking technology, Credit Suisse; Vivien Jong, chief digital officer for APAC, BNP Paribas; Gary Tiernan, head of investments, Crossinvest; Sagar Shenoi, director, global product manager, Client eChannels & Wealth Management Innovation, Deutsche Bank; Thomas Cherian, senior executive, digital banking, Bank of Singapore; Glenn Hempel, managing principal, FS Consulting, EPAM Switzerland, and global head, wealth & asset management consulting EPAM, also spoke on the panel.
