, which has offices across the UK, has appointed Pete Johnson as head of investment operations - a new role for the firm. He was formerly operations, risk and reporting manager in the central investment team at Tilney, the UK wealth management firm.

Typical Lockhart clients include business owners and entrepreneurs, partners of professional services firms as well as individuals and families that have accrued significant wealth from an inheritance, a major lottery win or a business sale. Lockhart Capital Management also provides specialised services to the recipients of catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence awards.

The firm’s private office oversees about £300 million ($392.5 million) of client money.
