Vanguard Asset Management
has launched the Vanguard DAX UCITS ETF.

It will provide access to 30 of the largest and most liquid companies in Germany, which includes manufacturers, car makers, and industrial companies.

The exchange-traded fund is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Deutsche Börse.

The launch of the Vanguard DAX UCITS ETF is the latest step in Vanguard’s long-term commitment to European investments. In June, Vanguard opened its first office in Germany, based in Frankfurt.

Brewin Dolphin
UK wealth manager has appointed Maitland as ACD (authorised corporate director) and fund administrator for its new funds serving its managed portfolio service (MPS).

Each of the four sub-funds – UK Equity, UK Equity Income, North American Equity and the Bond Fund – are operated on the “manager of manager” principle with Brewin Dolphin acting in the role of “asset allocation manager”.

Overall, there are 15 sub-investment managers across the four strategies. Maitland has facilitated the regulatory and operational infrastructure necessary to enable the smooth day to day operation and oversight of the funds.
