has promoted Todd Gartrell, CFP®, to the rank of southeast regional director for Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent broker/dealer.
Gartrell previously served as an assistant regional director for the RJFS Southeast region since 2012. He replaces Jodi Perry, who now serves as president of the RJFS Independent Contractor Division (ICD).

In 2009, he became the Suncoast Complex sales development manager for Raymond James & Associates (RJA), working with advisors to focus on increasing the value and effectiveness of their practices. He later became a branch manager for RJA’s Sarasota office, serving in that role until 2012 when he joined RJFS as an assistant regional director.
RJFS-ICD’s Southeast region includes seven states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as Puerto Rico.
