Vanguard
Global investment firm has launched six new factor-based exchange-traded funds. 

Antonio Picca, senior portfolio manager and Liqian Ren, portfolio manager, who are part of Vanguard’s quantitative equity group, will manage all US factor funds. 

The funds are:
- Vanguard US Minimum Volatility ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation with lower volatility relative to the US equity market.

- Vanguard US Value Factor ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with relatively lower share prices relative to fundamental values.

- Vanguard US Momentum Factor ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with strong recent performance.

- Vanguard US Liquidity Factor ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with lower measures of trading liquidity. 

- Vanguard US Quality Factor ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with strong fundamentals.

- Vanguard US Multifactor ETF – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with relatively strong recent performance, strong fundamentals, and low prices relative to fundamentals. 

- Vanguard US Multifactor Fund – seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in stocks with relatively strong recent performance, strong fundamentals, and low prices relative to fundamentals.
