Brooks Macdonald Asset Management, the UK investment boutique, has appointed Mark Eyres to its intermediary sales team with immediate effect. Mr Eyres joins from Principal Investment Management where he spent over eight years in a similar role. He will be based in the company’s Tunbridge Wells branch, launched last month, supporting IFAs in Kent and the surrounding areas. “We now employ six intermediary sales managers dedicated to supporting our network of IFAs around the country,” said joint managing director Andrew Shepherd. Brooks Macdonald Asset Management specializes in the management of private wealth, family assets and pension funds. The company has grown organically since its establishment in 1991, and now employs over 100 staff at its offices in London, Manchester, Winchester and Tunbridge Wells. Brooks Macdonald Asset Management is the investment subsidiary of Brooks Macdonald Group, the specialist wealth management group that has been listed on AIM since March 2005. Headquartered in London, the group has two other regional offices in Winchester and Manchester. As at 31 March 2009, Brooks Macdonald had £1.24 billion (£1.83 billion) of funds under management.
