Sanlam
has appointed Fadi Khoury as executive managing director, head of Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the firm said in a statement.

Khoury joined in July 2017 and is based in BMO Global AM's offices in Abu Dhabi. He reports directly to Mandy Mannix, head of client management, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The new head of MENA is responsible for focusing on institutional investors based across the GCC, namely government entities including sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), multi-lateral organisations, central banks and public pension funds. In his new role, Khoury will also look to expand the business into family offices, banks, insurance companies and wealth managers.
