Global consulting firm has appointed two veteran forensic accounting and fraud investigation experts, taking up posts on both sides of the Atlantic.

Peter Resnick will join as a vice president in the forensic services practice in Boston, and Paul Doxey will join the practice as a senior consultant in London, the firm said yesterday in a statement.

Resnick has experience in leading high profile engagements in the areas of fraud investigation, business damages and valuation. He has more than 20 years’ experience. Prior to joining CRA, Resnick served as the New England managing partner for Grant Thornton.

Doxey has experience in areas of accounting, laundering, fraud, bribery, corruption and financial crime due diligence. He has worked in the field for nearly 30 years. Doxey was a partner at Arthur Andersen and was seconded for two years in the Bank of England’s special investigations unit and at the UK Financial Services Authority.

“Peter and Paul bring decades of experience in advising clients on forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and financial crime engagements,” said president and chief executive, Paul Maleh. “The addition of these seasoned professionals in Boston and London will strengthen our fast-growing forensic services practice. They will assist our clients by using their specialised knowledge to independently investigate complex issues of fact, ethics, law and judgment, and in presenting their findings to boards, regulators, and courts of law.”
