Old Mutual Asset Management Logs AUM Increase For Q1 2017 - Financial Results

’s asset management arm has logged a 14.5 per cent increase in its assets under management year-on-year for the first financial quarter of 2017, which now stands at $249.7 billion.

The firm, which announced the results on its website yesterday, also saw an entire net income increase of 21.6 per cent from Q1 2016; it now is $38.9 million.

Net-client cash flow for the quarter was $2.5 billion.

The asset management division also reported an increase in quarterly dividend to $0.09 per share, up 12.5 per cent.

US GAAP earnings of $21.4 million for Q1 2017, was a 30.5% decrease from the comparative quarter last year. Economic net income EPS of $0.34 per share was an increase of 25.9 per cent from the same period in 2016.
