Neep joins as a regional sales manager from Close Brothers Asset Management, where he covered sales across the North East. He has also previously worked at Aegon, AXA Wealth and Cofunds, having started his career at Friends Provident.

In his new Leeds-based role at AXA IM, he will report to James Norden, head of strategic partnerships and regional sales.

“Daniel has extensive regional sales experience in the asset management space and a long list of contacts in the North,” said Rob Bailey, head of UK wholesale distribution at AXA IM. “In difficult market conditions it is even more important for us to be communicating with clients in various ways - via webcasts, emails, education and so on, but of greatest importance is having someone on the ground regionally, building relationships and speaking to clients face-to-face.”
