Cerno Capital Hires Business Development Director From Investec W&I

Global investment manager has appointed Tom Milnes as business development director, a newly-created role.

Milnes has more than 15 years' experience in business and industry knowledge, the firm said in a statement. He joins from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he was business development director. Prior to that, he held roles in investment sales at LV Asset Management and Rathbones.

In his new role, he will build and maintain Cerno Capital's client relationships with intermediaries, including financial advisors, consultants, and professional firms, and enhance compliance and investment needs.

“Tom is well respected in the industry, and his first-hand knowledge of working with intermediaries to meet clients’ investment needs is excellent, making him a strong addition to the Cerno team,” said Nicholas Hornby, managing partner of Cerno Capital.
