Rowan Dartington Names New Chief Risk Officer

has appointed Marcus Adams as its chief risk officer, a newly-created role.
Adams joins from Friends Provident International, where he was international risk director. Prior to that, he was head of group international audit for four years and established the group risk function at Prudential, following the financial crisis of 2008.
His new role, based in Bristol, sees Adams join the company's board.
“Fast growth also implies significant changes and Marcus’s experience, with his proven capability in developing and continuously improving risk management and internal audit functions, will be key to our long-term success,” said executive chairman Graham Coxell. “His international work will also prove most valuable at a time when the firm is expanding its offshore offering with Rowan Dartington International."
