ZEDRA Creates New London MD Role

, the provider of corporate, trust and fund services, has appointed David Inglesfield to the newly-created post of managing director for its London office.

Inglesfield has developed businesses within the high net worth wealth management sector across Africa, Asia, Russia and the Middle East. Previously, he was regional director for the Asiaciti Trust group, responsible for leading the development of Singapore-based Asiaciti Trust’s business in Europe.

He has also held regional directorships at Standard Chartered Private Bank and Barclays Wealth, which he joined as an international graduate in 1986.

The appointment represents another hiring by ZEDRA, which employs about 380 staff in 11 jurisdictions.

Among recent developments, ZEDRA in December 2016 acquired Luxembourg International Consulting – aka Interconsult. Terms were not disclosed.

In other recent developments, ZEDRA appointed a former senior HSBC figure to head up development of its Singapore office, which also supports markets in North and South Asia. The firm hired Wendy Sim, who has more than 20 years’ experience working with ultra high net worth clients in the region, specialising in wealth management and estate planning for Asian corporate and high net worth individuals and their families. She holds the title of managing director. She was previously at HSBC Trustee (Singapore), responsible for developing and delivering pan-Asian family governance solutions, as well as assisting global families looking for Asian-based structures.
