Pictet Funds, the investment fund distribution arm of Pictet & Cie, the Geneva-based private bank, now has twelve funds and one fund-of–funds listed on the Novia wrap platform. Novia provides platform-based wealth management services to UK investment advisers and their clients.

Pictet registered its first funds for distribution in the UK market in September 2007 and this latest listing further increases access to Pictet Funds' range of products for investment advisers.

Among the Pictet funds now available on the platform is the recently launched fund-of-funds, the bank’s Megatrend Selection Fund, which gives investors exposure to an equally-weighted share of each of Pictet’s eight thematic sector funds.

“Novia’s aim is to offer extensive choice to investment advisers and their clients and the Pictet funds in particular have exposure to global themes. Their products offer an alternative portfolio selection which sits well within Novia’s open architecture strategy,” Bill Vasilieff, chief executive of Novia.

“We are experiencing considerable demand for Pictet Funds products in the UK, particularly the Global Megatrend Selection Fund, which provides investors with diversified exposure to all of our thematic funds. We look forward to working with Novia in the future,” Paul Gaston, UK sales director at Pictet Funds.

The full range of Pictet Funds now available includes the Global Megatrend Selection Fund, the Timber Fund, the Greater China Fund, the Biotech Fund, the Clean Energy Fund and the Digital Communications Fund.

Pictet, which is based in Geneva, employs more than 2,900 staff. The group has offices in the following financial centres: Barcelona, Dubai, Florence, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Lausanne, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Montreal, Nassau, Paris, Rome, Singapore, Turin, Tokyo and Zurich. Pictet Funds was founded in 1997 as the Pictet Group's fund management company and distributes more than 90 investment funds.
