Cazenove Capital Management, the London-based asset manager, has appointed financial planner Nick Carter in a move to strengthen its Jersey team. In his new role Mr Carter is responsible for financial planning and introducing Cazenove Capital’s offering to trustees, private client advisors and private individuals based in the Channel Islands. He reports to London-based financial planner Ian Lindsay. Mr Carter joins Cazenove from Synergy Financial Services, of which he was a founder partner. As a director for 11 years, his main responsibilities at Synergy were building assets under management and the provision of advisory services to Jersey’s local residents. "Nick's arrival shows our commitment to the Channel Islands market and is part of a programme of opening up the distribution of our successful business model,” said David Austin, head of financial planning at Cazenove Capital. Cazenove Capital Management ended last year with assets under management of £10.9 billion (around $15.5 billion).
