Shaw joins after nine years at Kleinwort Benson where she was a client director. Regan has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, and joins from BNP Paribas, where he was head of Asian equities in Europe. He previously held a similar role at Credit Suisse.

Shaw will report to James Campbell-Johnson, divisional director, investment management, London and South East. Regan will report to Simon Blowey, divisional director, financial planning, London and South East.

They join as part of the company's hiring plan to support its growth ambitions to increase discretionary funds by a third over the next five years.

Brewin Dolphin has £32.8 billion ($43 billion) in funds under management, of which £25.9 billion is managed on a discretionary basis. The company operates from 28 offices across the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland.
