Hawksford Appoints Associate Director

 has appointed Bobby Stirling from BDO as associate director, a newly-created role.

Stirling, who brings 12 years of industry experience, was most recently a senior manager at BDO in Jersey. He previously worked at manager level at PricewaterhouseCoopers, having originally joined the firm through its Jersey graduate programme back in 2004.

He brings technical knowledge and experience in the application of accounting standards, including United Kingdom Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Based in Jersey, Stirling will oversee Hawksford’s client accounting team, while ensuring high standards of financial statements and book-keeping services. 

“Bobby brings to Hawksford a robust combination of solid industry experience and specialist accounting skills, which will be invaluable in helping the company to offer creative and pragmatic solutions for our wide range of institutional, entrepreneurial and high net worth clients. We are delighted with the appointment,” said Steve Spybey, finance director at the firm.

Hawksford serves trusts, companies, foundations, partnerships, family offices and investment funds.
