Credit Suisse Appoints Ex-UBS Man As Head Of UHNW Clients For EMEA

Blake Shorthouse, a former deputy head, global key clients at UBS, has left the wealth manager to join its Swiss rival, Credit Suisse, WealthBriefing can exclusively report.

Mr Shorthouse has been appointed as head, ultra high net worth clients for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Credit Suisse. He takes up his new role on 1 July, Credit Suisse said.

He held his previous role at UBS since 2007. He joined the Key Clients team UK at UBS in 1999 after six years at the private clients department at Merrill Lynch.

UBS has confirmed that Mr Shorthouse has left the firm.
