Mercer, the international investment consultancy firm, has chosen Vermillion Software’s client reporting platform for its UK business. Vermillion Reporting Suite is intended to streamline the reporting cycle while maintaining corporate branding and content standards. According to Vermillion, VRS allows firms to benefit from increased automation, while at the same time producing multi-lingual, graphical reports which are of marketing-quality. “We believe that the technology platform will yield significant medium and long-term gains that will improve the quality of our client reports,” said Fiona Dunsire, Mercer's UK head of investment consulting. VRS can be used to produce reports in Word, PDF, HTML, Excel, CSV, XML and PowerPoint formats, and is available as both a hosted ASP service, or an in-house installation. Founded in 2003, Vermillion Software specialises in producing client communication technology for the global asset management market, and is headquartered in London. Mercer provides investment, outsourcing and consulting services, including guidance on decision-making, risk management and investment monitoring. The firm, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has 18,000 employees based in over 40 countries.
