DIARY: A Very International Wedding For Stephen And Stephanie Harris

Guests from across the globe congregated in West London for the wedding of this news organisation’s chief executive, Stephen Harris, and Stephanie Bird.

Stephanie is originally from Wollongong, Australia and has practised law in Sydney. She now works for HSBC in London as a lawyer. Stephen is originally from Dorset and moved to London in the late 1980s.

Philip Harris, Stephen’s brother, was best man, while Dr Laura Bird and Jessica Bird, Stephanie’s sisters, were bridesmaids. The couple were joined by Dr Robert and Anne Bird, and Stephen’s parents, Roy and Dorothy Harris.

The wedding was a highly international event. People from Australia, the US, Germany, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Poland and Malta – many of whom are senior figures in media, the legal profession, wealth management and medicine - celebrated with the new Mr and Mrs Harris in Fulham, where the couple are making their home.
