Former HSBC Director Nominated For Julius Baer Board

A former top manager at HSBC has been nominated to join Julius Baer’s board of directors at the Swiss bank’s annual meeting on 13 April.

The nominee is Ann Almeida, who was former group managing director of human resources and corporate sustainability at HSBC. If elected, she will take up the post with effect from 1 June, said in a statement.

Almeida spent 23 years at HSBC. She holds senior advisory positions and directorships as Jadwa Investments, Fair Capital, and the Axiata Group.
