Cyril previously managed small cap portfolios at AXA Investment Managers since 2008. Prior to this, he worked at Natixis.

In his new role, he will be based in Geneva and will work alongside Alain Caffort, the firm's lead manager for the European small cap strategy.

Earlier this week, Pictet Asset Management hired Simon Gottelier, Peter Lingen and Christian Roessing as senior investment managers within its thematic equities team. They will work on the firm's water, robotics and clean energy strategies respectively.
