Lisa Ritchie joins from UK-based Adam & Company, where she was most recently a private banker. Before this, she was branch manager at RBS. Meanwhile, Stuart Ritchie joins from Anderson Anderson & Brown Wealth in the UK where he was a financial planner. He also previously worked at Adam & Company and RBS.

AES International said the newly-created roles come as part of its drive to export the professional standards and high quality of advice found in the UK to other parts of the world.

“As with AES International, Lisa and Stuart are passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and about challenging the standard of financial advice currently available to many British expatriates,” said AES International's chief executive, Sam Instone.

The company, which was founded in 2004, provides advice in 36 countries across Europe and the Middle East and employs 150 financial professionals. It had assets under management of £500 million ($764 million) as of the end of 2014.
