Credit Suisse’s new chief executive Tidjane Thiam has made his first appointments as he starts to mould Switzerland’s second-largest bank into his preferred shape after taking the helm from Brady Dougan earlier this year, the bank confirmed.
Pierre-Olivier Bouee, who left Prudential, the UK insurer, around the same time as Thiam to work for , will be his new chief of staff.
A Reuters report, confirmed by the bank, said Thiam has also moved Fridolin Walch to a business manager role from corporate development. Meanwhile, Rob Basso, who had worked in the office of Dougan, will now focus on human resources at the investment bank, as well as private banking and wealth management products, the bank confirmed.
