, has bolstered its Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV range with three new funds.

The RBC Funds (Lux) – Emerging Markets Value Equity Fund will hold a diversified portfolio of emerging market value stocks. It will be run by the firm's deputy head of emerging market equities and senior portfolio manager Laurence Bensafi.

The RBC Funds (Lux) – Emerging Markets Small Cap Equity Fund, led by Philippe Langham, head of emerging market equities and a senior portfolio manager, will provide exposure to small-cap companies tied to growing domestic demand trends.

Lastly, the RBC Funds (Lux) – European Equity Focus Fund aims to target some of the most successful Europe-based companies through a high-conviction approach. The fund will be managed by Dominic Wallington, senior portfolio manager and chief investment officer at RBC GAM (UK), along with senior portfolio manager David Lambert.

The three sub-funds will be sub-advised by RBC Global Asset Management (UK) and run by the asset manager’s London-based investment team.

“We are pleased to bring the expertise of these teams to investors around the world by broadening our range of SICAV solutions,” said the chief investment officer at RBC GAM, Dan Chornous.

The new additions bring RBC GAM’s offering of RBC Funds (Lux) sub-funds to 16, while boosting its emerging market coverage. The existing RBC Funds (Lux) – Emerging Market Equity Fund recently surpassed the $100 million assets milestone.

“Valuations are extremely attractive on a historical basis and also compared to developed markets with the price-to-book ratio at a 30 per cent discount,” said Bensafi.

“There is also much to be positive about in terms of governance, which will help to drive economic growth and unlock investment returns. In particular we see meaningful reforms in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico and China.”
