Unigestion Names Head Of Investment Solutions

, the Geneva-based asset manager, has appointed Rudyard Ekindi as head of investment solutions in its equity team. He formerly worked as director of investment research at the National Employment Savings Trust.

In his new role, Ekindi reports to Alexei Jourovski, managing director and head of equity.

Prior to his stint at NEST, Ekindi was head of asset allocation at Credit Suisse Asset Management.

At the end of December last year, Unigestion oversaw €13.8 billion ($15.7 billion) of client assets; the vast majority (94 per cent) of these assets are handled on behalf of institutions and the remainder for high net worth families. The firm was set up more than 40 years ago.
