Henderson Makes Changes To Products And Distribution Team

London listed has reshuffled its products and distribution team.

James Bowers has been promoted to global head of product and distribution services while Ian Dyble has been hired from Cazenove Capital Management - where he was chief operating officer - as head of product development.

"James’s promotion is well deserved. He has successfully managed product consolidation projects post the acquisitions of New Star and Gartmore and enabled to us to successfully reshape our global product offering," said Phil Wagstaff, head of distribution. "Ian’s appointment and the overall strengthening of our product development team is a direct consequence of adapting to client needs and our growing global assets under management. We have launched a number of new strategies over recent years and are continuing to broaden our alternatives capabilities globally."

Last month Henderson Global Investors launched two new credit funds. The fixed income funds are named the Henderson Horizon Emerging Market Corporate Bond Fund and the Henderson Horizon Global Corporate Bond Fund. They are managed by Steve Drew, head of emerging market credit, and James Briggs, a fixed income fund manager.
