A private investment office in the UK has been created by three former executives from Germany-headquartered Berenberg Bank, suggesting continued vibrancy in the market for such organisations and family offices.
The firm is called Lincoln Private Investment Office, created by Ross Elder, Fred Hervey and Becky Robbins as managing partner, chief investment officer and chief operating officer, respectively.
The team are supported by an investment advisory board including Hugh Sloane of Sloane Robinson, Dipankar Shewaram, formerly of BlueBay Asset Management, and Alan Carruthers, formerly of JP Morgan Cazenove.
“We have launched Lincoln to deliver a better service for clients looking for high quality expertise in the management of their wealth,” Elder said in a statement.
“We have quickly secured an exceptional client base of sophisticated financial professionals and high calibre entrepreneurs. We are confident we will build strongly on this initial growth. Our initial clients have been attracted by the opportunity to be part of such a compelling investment proposition,” he said.
