Vestra Wealth Boosts Team With Barclays, Julius Baer Hires

UK-headquarted Vestra Wealth has appointed four from Julius Baer and Barclays Wealth as it looks to bulk up its workforce.
The four senior hires bring with them a combined 60 years of wealth management experience.
Daniel Fresnais and Andrew Keating were both directors at Julius Baer, while Effimia Geraki and Serena Doshi were both vice presidents at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
“Effimia, Serena, Andrew and Daniel bring exceptional track records in client service and risk-managed returns,” said David Scott, founding partner at Vestra Wealth. “They have earned the trust and respect of their clients and were attracted by our focus on doing what is right for the client at all times.”
Last month, Vestra Wealth recorded an increase in revenue and pre-tax profit for the year ended April.
The six-year-old firm posted pre-tax profits up at £8.8 million ($14.1 million) from £6.7 million the year before. Meanwhile revenue increased by 24 per cent to £29.2 million, up from £23.4 million.
Salaries were also up, rising 47 per cent year-on-year. The highest yearly salary was £652,419 more than double the highest salary of £260,266 that was paid last year.
