New Jersey Baseball Star Turns Financial Advisor

New Jersey-based Kerwin Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Wachovia, has made former professional baseball star Patrick Boran a financial advisor. Mr Boran became a registered representative only recently, having played professional baseball for much of his career. He spent six seasons with the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, and the Somerset Patriots of Bridgewater, New Jersey, which he joined during their 2005 championship season. An increasing number of sporting professionals are finding second careers in wealth management.
