New York Wealth Manager Opens Amsterdam Office

Highmount Capital is opening its first European office, in Amsterdam. The new office is intended to bring the firm’s multifamily office services to the European market and serve as a hub for the European clients that currently make up one-quarter of its client base.

The office will be headed by a new hire, Dominique van Hilten, a private banker with European experience in strategic planning and structuring of assets who has spent the past fifteen years at Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers in Amsterdam as a senior private banker specialising in tax and estate advice.

Highmount Capital is an independent investment advisor, wholly owned and operated by its employees. It provides tailored wealth management services in traditional and alternative investments to families and private clients. The firm has $1.3 billion under management, with existing offices in New York and Boston.
